Displays system status.
10MHz Clock
Source
Reference Clock Internal or External.
A 10MHz reference clock should be connected to the 10MHz ref in port placed on the back panel of the unit.
If the external clock is lost the unit automatically switches back to the internal 10MHz clock source.
For moving back to external clock after external clock lost the unit must be set again to external clock.
Ref Out Clock
Enable/Disable 10MHz reference signal to the back panel 10MHz reference out port.
If not in use make sure to set to off
TX Port Clock
Enable/Disable 10MHz reference signal to the L band TX port.
This 10MHz signal is usually applicable for activating BUC units.
If not in use make sure to set to off.
LNB Ref Clock
Enable/Disable 10MHz reference signal to the L band RX port.
This 10MHz signal is usually applicable for LNB requiring external 10MHz input signal.
If not in use make sure to set to off.

Demodulator
Line
Displays line status.
General
Line Mode
The selected transmission protocol
Line State
The status of the physical demodulator. The demodulator is Sync if the timing, phase, frequency are synchronized and the a physical layer header is detected. Otherwise, it is Not-Sync
Pilot SNR
The SNR (signal to noise ratio) estimation in dB units, calculated over the header and pilot symbols
Composite Power
The power of the entire signal at the input of the demodulator unit in dBM units
Signal Power
The power of the demodulated signal in dBm units, available when the demodulator is in Sync state
Symbol Rate
The selected symbol rate in MSPS units
Symbol Rate Offset
The measured offset between the actual received symbol rate to the selected symbol rate in PPM units
Roll Off
The selected roll-off of the squared root raised cosine (SRRC) matched filter at the demodulator input
RF Frequency
The L-Band RF carrier frequency in MHz units
RF Frequency Offset
The measured offset between the actual received carrier frequency to the selected carrier frequency in KHz units
Interference Counter
pulse interference detection counter (1 second interval).
Echo-Cancellation
State
General status of the echo-cancellation. After locking the state should be "Locked".
Satellite Delay
The actual delay of the out-bound signal in [ms].
TX Frequency Offset
The in-bound to out-bound frequency offset.
Gain Difference
The difference between the in-bound and the outbound signals power.
Channel
Data Rate
The measured data rate at the channel output in Mbit/sec units, including added null packets and restored deleted null packets
Link Margin
The difference in dB units between the current level of operation and the QEF threshold point
Status
The channel is Locked when all frames associated with this channel are error free for a short period of time (1 second) and the channel data rate is not negligible (higher than 25 Kbit/sec). Otherwise the channel is Unlocked
SNR
The SNR (signal to noise ratio) estimation in dB units, calculated over the data (non header/pilot) symbols
Modulation
The symbols constellation used in frames associated with this channels
FEC Rate
The LDPC code rate used in frames associated with this channel
Pilot
The pilot insertion used in frames associated with this channel
Frame Size
The size of frames associated with this channel
Frames
The number of frames associated with this channel which were received since the last clear of counters
Error Frames
The number of erroneous frames associated with this channel which were received since the last clear of counters
FER
The frame error rate (number of erroneous frames divided by the total number of frames) associated with this channel
PRBS
Source
The selected source of test pattern: channel-1/channel-2
Data Bytes
The number of tested data bytes received since the last clear of counters
Error Bits
The number of error bits (which don't match the selected test pattern) received since the last clear of counters
BER
The bit error rate (number of mismatched bits divided by the total number of bits) of the test pattern

The symbols constellation used in frames with a specific mode-code
FEC Rate
The LDPC code rate used in frames with a specific mode-code
Pilot
The pilot insertion used in frames with a specific mode-code
Frame Size
The size of frames associated with a specific mode-code
Frames
The number of frames with a specific mode-code which were received since the last clear of counters
Error Frames
The number of erroneous frames with a specific mode-code which were received since the last clear of counters
FER

TX status
Displays all TX interfaces statuses.
For each TX interface the following statuses are displayed:

- Inactive: when the interface is not selected by any channel
- Not Locked: when the interface is selected by one channel and no data appears at its input
- Locked: when the interface is selected by one channel with data at its input
Source
The channel that the interface is selected by, or disable when the interface is not selected by any channel
Data Rate
The measured data rate at the interface input in Mbit/sec units, including added null packets
Actual Data Rate
The measured data rate at the interface input in Mbit/sec units, excluding added null packets
Utilization
The measured utilization at the interface input in percent units
RX status
Displays all RX interfaces statuses.
For each RX interface the following statuses are displayed:

Data rate takes into account transmission overheads : DVB-S2/DVB-S2X/NS3/NS4/DVBS protocol and encapsulation method (NSPE/ULE/GSE).

Need to set the pilot and frame size in advance.

Channel-1 Bitrate Percent
Description
This read only field shows you the percent of the line rate the channel will consume when configured to the bitrate defined. Note that it may display a number over 100%, in which case the setting is actually 100%. Please note that in case the other channel is not in the same modulation/fec rate/frame size/pilot configuration, the sum of the percentage will not be 100% when the line is completly utilized.

DiSeqc User Commands
The user commands page allows for user defined customization.
Each entry calls one of the basic command with a specific datum and LNB mode, and assigns a unique user defined name to it
So for example, if you have a SAR 212 Spaun switch, with one LNB connected to a dish pointed to London and the other to New York,
you can define a "London" Command that will issue a committed switch DiSEqC command with the datum 0xf0 (for input 1),
and a "New York" Command with the datum 0xf4 (for input 2), simplifying matters for the non-admin user.

a. choose file- the button opens a browse window that allows browsing for license file to be loaded
b. upgrade- upload selected license file
2. FTP
a. Server Address- the server from which license file will be loaded
b. File Name- license file name to load
c. User Name
d. Password


SW upgrade
Download the software
There are 2 options to perform SW download
1. File Selection
a. choose file- the button opens a brows window that allows browsing for package file to be loaded
b. upgrade- upgrade sw version from selected file
2. FTP
a. Server Address- the server from which sw package will be loaded
b. File Name- package file name to load
c. User Name
d. Password


Activate SW package
After downloading a new software the software stored in backup location.
this action switch between the software in the backup location with the one in the active location.
After the switch the device will reboot itself automatically in order to run the new software.


2.5. Unidirectional Remote control
Description:
The Unidirectional Remote Control mechanism intends to enable the network administrator to
control remote units over the air without return channel (unidirectional link). The mechanism
allows the administrator to perform the following actions:
Remote serial number
The remote serial number, may be found in system → hw/sw versions of the destination unit.
The user shall fill this field with the serial number, of a single destination unit,
which the upcoming action shall take place on.
All
checking this check box define the whole group which belongs to the same ISI
as destination units to the upcoming over the air action.
Sending SW package
SW upgrade over the air mechanism without a return channel of feedback. Since this subject is
very delicate issue, a sophisticated and robust mechanism was developed, with intention to
deliver a SW package from one point to another in a real life satellite conditions.

Upload file - The button opens a browse window that allows browsing for the tar
package file. The file will be uploaded to the local unit first and then will be transmitted
to the remote.

Activate remotes - The button sends an activation command to the selected remote
to activate the new SW package.
Sending configuration file
Configuration file transmission over the air mechanism without a return channel of feedback.
The configuration file is a predefine one, located on a local PC
There are two method to send and activate a configuration file on a remote:

a. Immediate activation - using �Upload File and Apply� button. By choosing this
method, right after the file is received and verified, activation will take place.
b. Postponed activation - Using Upload File button and then Activate Configuration button.
By choosing this method, the file will receive immediately by remote but activation will take place manually.

Upload file - The button opens a browse window that allows browsing for the
configuration file. The file will be uploaded to the local unit first and then will be
transmitted to the remote without activation command.

Activate Configuration - The button transmits an activation command for any
configuration file that is in the remote device DB pool. The configuration file name must
be fulfilled in the text field.

Upload File and Apply - Same button as Upload file but an activation command will
be transmitted at the end of the file configuration transmission.

Save Current Configuration - The button transmits a save current configuration
command to remote unit.
Sending Configuration Command
In the case where a single configuration parameter has to be change on the link, of a single unit
or the whole group, introduce the single command transmission Over The Air, feature.
The administrator must first define the command which he desire to execute in SNMP Commands page.

Command Name - Selects a predefine command; a drop down menu will appear.

Send and Execute - The button transmits and execute the selected command
in the remote unit upon receiving.

Send and Wait - The button transmits the selected command and stores it in the remote
buffer for a later execution. This button allows to append several commands
in a buffer and execute them together.

Execute - The button transmits an execution command to execute all the remote’s
buffered commands.

Clear Commands Buffer - The button transmits a command to clear all the remote
stored commands buffer.
Sending License File

very delicate issue, a sophisticated and robust mechanism was developed, with intention to
deliver the license file from one point to another in a real life satellite conditions.
Upload License file - - The button opens a browse window that allows browsing for the license file.
The file will be uploaded to the local unit first and then will be transmitted
to the remote.
The button will be enabled only after a remote serial number will be enter. The entered S/N
will be compared with the S/N in the file, if there is no match a pop-up error message will appear
indicating "Error: SN does not match". The uploaded file will be deleted and the user will need to start it over.
Activate License - The button sends an activation command to the license file in the remote, this command
can be broadcast to all remotes by selecting "All" in the Remote S/N field.
Status
The Status table are oriented to monitor each operation transmitting progress.
Two of the control operations can be canceled by you during the transmit progress:

1. SW Package
2. Configuration or License file

Cancel Transmission - The button will stop the transmission process.

SW Package - In case of SW package action a transmission progress will be displayed.

File - In case of Sending Configuration or License file a transmission progress will be displayed.

Command - In case of Sending Configuration Command a transmission progress will be displayed.
